VGH and my Fractured foot!

I got into an argument with an unknown person on the 25 hundred block of East Hastings Street on Sunday February 9, 2020..  To leave me, to limp and ride a broken mountain bike back to 2132 Ash where I’m living… I spent that evening in pain and in hope that it was possibly only just a sprained ankle…

I visited emergency VGH after seeing the doctor an ultrasound and x rays it was determined that i have a fractured foot!

Outcome I need a boot and some crutches, which is what I asked for in the beginning…

Being in the hospital waiting room, inwhich was extremely packed and very busy, which was very stressful, by the time i was just coming to the end of diagnoses, awaiting for the nurses to place a boot on my fractured foot and to receive some crutches and a sandwich because after five hours i was very hungry…

My attitude was at end! I only wanted to get out of the damn hospital and home, however the nurses attitude was less than to desire, very disrespectful…  By this time the emergency room was almost empty, being among the first of those around the emergency room, upon my observation there was nobody i recognized when i came into the emergency room in the first place…

Because I placed a lot of pressure, upon the nursing staff they called security, then they escorted me out of the VGH not receiving any lasting treatment…  And where VGH security would not call a taxi which was paid for by the government to get home… Because the taxi voucher is only good from the hospital to home no where else…

I then hobbled the mile back home with a pole for a crutch only one shoe on….

This is the treatment I received from Vancouver General Hospital and I am on disability medical coverage…

Personally I would like some compensation for my discomfort and mental stress for the actions of all involved at VGH…

This is only my point of view, not that of any others…

Only in Vancouver would you receive treatment such as this, now i will try again at a different hospital going through the process all over again, adding to my discomfort and stress…

Thank You Vancouver British Columbia Canada…
