Something about me!

Christopher Raymond Jensen

A fifth-generation British Columbia boy (that’s in Canada); born in Burnaby General Hospital, February 3, 1958, to Raymond Christopher Jensen and Barbara Streeting. I was raised in Vancouver, B.C.  Canada, where I was also gained an Elementary School education.

I live on the street by Choice.  Binning is a way of life for me .  I came from a very troubled childhood with its many ups and downs.  Have been employed as a web pressman, Sound engineer, and there have been several labour jobs throughout my life.  Now I’m on disability which has come about from my haunted troubled youth.

A peek into my past photos

Summer of 2009

In the summer of 2009 I played a small part in the “VELO-CITY: Vancouver & the Bicycle Revolution” exhibit at the Planetarium Museum in Kitsilano.  I would like to thank Propellor Design members Pamela Goddard, Nick Rust, and Toby Barratt for giving me the honor by placing a photo of me among the entire great riders of our age.  One of the four photos below was used in Bicycle Revolution exhibit at the Museum in Kitsilano.

Vancouver Review

Photographer and Creative Director Mark Mushet has nominations in both Still-life (for an image of Bono’s shockingly vast tour-truck fleet) and People and Portraiture (for a shot of bike binner Chris Jensen from the “Velo-City” series)

  6. This was the first place that I called into when I found your request to view my Space, I always check out anyone that wishes to join my travels and I find you a very interesting young man, I say young because age is just a number and you and I are practically twins, or should I say you are just a tad older than myself but by only one year so how about that for wicked? 🙂

You must have a varied life I think but one that is rich, in the sense of all the freedom and wide open spaces that you can travel, and I wish you well in your quest my friend. Thank you for sharing yourself with us here on your about page, and do have a marvellous rest of weekend Chris 🙂
